Full Moon Snowshoe
Bundle up and join us for an evening snowshoe under the light of January’s full moon, otherwise known as the ‘wolf moon’.
We’ll be following the Perimeter Trail of the Rock Cliff Recreation area in Jordanelle State Park, a mountainous 2 mile out-and-back trail with lovely views over the Jordanelle reservoir. Remember to wear warm boots and layers and bring water. This trial is rated as intermediate.
Snowshoes and headlamps are available, however, feel free to bring your own.
Our community events are offered in partnership between Wasatch Mountain Institute and Jordanelle State Park and are always free of charge. However, there is a $10/ vehicle ($5 seniors) entrance fee for the State Park.
Feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns to lara@wasatchmountaininstitute.org.
Registration for this event is full. Stay connected with WMI and join us for future opportunities, subscribe to our newsletter!
