As a proud ReThink Outside partner and a member of the Outdoors Empowered Network, Wasatch Mountain Institute believes time spent outdoors is a basic human right. We are united in a shared vision of a future where everyone has positive experiences outdoors and shares the joy, health, growth, and sense of community that comes with it. Everyone deserves the opportunity to enjoy time outdoors; when we are more connected to each other, to our communities, and to the world around us, we all benefit.

To support our program participants the Wasatch Mountain Institute Gear Library provides clothing and equipment for all participants to use during programs. By providing everything from gloves to boots and tents to dishes, we outfit participants with everything they need to be safe and comfortable while learning and playing outdoors.
